Results For Denver's Ise archery shoot

The Denver ISE show was awesome, thanks to all those archers that participated. Special thanks to Bill with The Archery Hut and Phil with No Limits Archery for helping us get the word out.

Thanks to Cory B and Katie H for coming and participating at the shoot. Katie and Cory ended up shooting off for first and second place for the women, Katie shot the advanced speed and posted a score of 84 and Cory shot in the qualifying speed and place a score of 87. Cory was our first place winner in the women's bracket. Katie went on to shoot in the money class as one of the 32 shooters. Our shoot off for our money class was really competitive and we had some great shooters! The outcome of the shoot was unexpected as always, Adam Taylor of Utah posted the highest qualifying score over the three days of qualifying with 112 out of a 120 possible. Adam took home the Top Dog Award and the gift certificate from Badlands Packs. But however when it came to the shoot off, Adam unfortunately dropped an arrow from his quiver which scored as a "0" and missed one of the animals in his round. We saw several Factory shooters who also placed some great scores during the course of a few days of shooting. However when it came down to it, 4 shooters kept their game faces on to go on to the top 4 shooters.

Rafael Mendoza from the Denver area, prevailed from the Pro speed and beat all his competitors to come out as our #1 shooter, Jason Barnes and Mathews Staff shooter Tipton Cook tied for 2nd place, however Jason had shot one more 12 in the round over Tipton to win the 2nd place seat, placing tipton in our 3rd spot. Joe Aldretti pulled the bow out of the closet and threw it together and ended up in our 4th place seat.

Again Thanks to all who participated and help make the Ise Denver shoot a success, Special thanks to the International Sportmen's Expo for bringing us along on there 2010 tour, And our Sponsors, Mathews, Hoyt, Asat Camo, Gold Tip arrows, Spothogg, Humphries Taxidermy, Humphries Inc, GrimReaper Broad heads and Rinehart Targets, And also Home Depot for the use of the Plywood. Thank You again for your sponsors and participation of this great sport.....

See you all in Phoenix......
